Quietly set on a knoll in the Lincoln Highlands area of the Oakland Hills, this recently refreshed residence harmonizes contemporary details with mid-century traditional architecture. A corner lot with Southwest exposure keeps the house awash in natural light throughout the day as most rooms boast tranquil Bay and City views.
A dynamic floorplan spread across multiple levels with three bedrooms and two baths balances privacy with comfortable living and entertaining needs. From the formal dining room, your guests may catch a glimpse of the Bay through the paned window as a new light fixture, blue accent wall and hardwood floors with intricate inlays keep the space elevated for modern entertaining.
A large eat-in kitchen has been updated with a true chef in mind with a Viking range and hood, recessed lighting, new pendant lights, under-cabinet lighting, modern cabinetry with designer paint, new tile backsplash and quartz countertops. From the breakfast nook, more views of the bay from the corner windows.
Spacious and bright, the living room is anchored by a fireplace with a decorative tiled hearth and captures sweeping views of San Francisco, the bay, bridges, and the Oakland Hills.
A staircase, with patterned risers, brings you upstairs where two bedrooms and a full bathroom reside. The generously sized primary bedroom offers yet another vantage point of the bay, along with a ceiling fan, two walk-in closets with organizers and built-in drawers and the potential to create an ensuite bath. A second bedroom has a ceiling fan, a nice-sized closet and views of the Oakland hills. These bedrooms share a bath with a walk-in glass-enclosed shower, dual sink vanity, and dual mirrored medicine cabinets.
Downstairs, you’ll find a large laundry room equipped with a full size washer / dryer, a sink and ample built-in storage, a carpeted bedroom and another bath with a shower over the tub, new vanity, and tile flooring, and an office alcove.
Take the curved brick staircase downstairs to find the lower family room. Here, it’s easy to imagine keeping friends and family entertained with a brick fireplace, recently updated built-in bar with storage and a door that leads directly to the yard.
Beckoning you to convene with nature, the backyard has been reimagined as a contemporary-style outdoor oasis with cement paving, mature fig tree / landscaping, and bistro lights.
A large one-car attached garage completes the vision.
A location in one of Oakland’s hidden gem neighborhoods that’s close to East Bay hotspots via Highway 13 and 580, and only minutes from Montclair, Glenview, Dimond/Laurel, Woodminster and Joaquin Miller Regional Park. Don't miss out on this fantastic opportunity!
